On March 4, 2022 a Chinese woman named Ms. Xingchun Rong was killed in
an accident in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Representatives of several overseas Chinese
delegations in New York handed over nearly $70,000 to Rong’s family to help them
get through the difficulties as soon as possible. America Hotel Owners Charitable
Association Inc. Chairman John Lam said that various Chinese American associations hope to raise more funds to help ensure the success of Rong’s son in his studies.
